What a month!

What a crazy month! It started out by me being dumb and clumsy. I might have fell down the stairs at the bank and broke my elbow. Keep in mind that my boss and 2 other co-workers were there to watch the traumatic accident! I don't know what was worse; the embarrassment or the pain. I had a cast for the first 8 days, now I am lucky enough to have a sling. I have to wear it another month! It is really weird.

My baby brother, Josh, got married on June 20th. It was beautiful and crazy all in one. We prayed and prayed for no rain. What do you think we got.......RAIN!!! The weather held off during the ceremony and then a half hour before the reception was supposed to start in was like a monsoon. In a mad rush we tried to gather all of the decorations, food and people. It was crazy! The reception ended up great.

Last month Jim graduated! I am so proud of him! He has worked so hard these past years. Now on to the job search. Wish us luck! I will post all of the pictures later. What a great couple of months.

Commercials

Sorry Treavor and Sara but I had to steal this from you. I too love commercials. These commercials with Charles Barkley and Dwayne Wade can be watched over and over at my house. I love them. They crack Jim and I up every time.

Sweet Thing - Keith Urban

Boy, do I love me some Keith Urban. I told you guys that he is my boyfriend and now here is the proof. Just click on the video below, it has my name, phone number and everything. He even knows that I drive a Subaru Legacy. And just so no one thinks that I have left Jim out....it says his name in the very beginning. Love this!!!

GRADUATION!!!

I am so excited. Jim just got an email about his official graduation date.....May 1, 2009. It is very bittersweet. The bitter: we have to start paying back student loans. I wonder if it is true that you make more money once you have a degree? The sweet: Jim is graduating, he will start looking for his "dream" job, he will not have homework anymore. A million different sweet things! James W Harvey: BS degree in Aviation Administration. :) Oh Happy Day!

Super Bowl

I have to say that I am not a big fan of football. There are too many rules, too many players and too much going on at one time. I get so confused! I know that makes me sound like a blond but thats ok. I don't even know how much I liked the commercials this year. I really liked the Pepsi Max one, the one with everyone getting hurt and thrown up against things. AWESOME!

Ok...So not a lot has happened since my last post but hey I will at least explain a little bit.

So Jim had kind of a milestone birthday on January 14th.  It was his last birthday in his 20's, the big 29!  My gosh, I can't believe that he is that old because that means that in 6 months I will be that old.  CRAZY!

Update on Chandler....He is doing pretty well.  We did have a minor setback which included a small blood clot in his lower heart but with having a shot every 12 hours he is doing much better.  He is starting to grow his "fuzzy" hair back.  I will try and take a picture but Chan is not one of those kids that love the camera.

Christmas was great.  Jim and I took from Christmas Eve to after New Years off of work.  It was lovely.  We did a whole lot of nothing.  We were able to sleep in, stay up late and do whatever we wanted.  It was 12 days of wonderful and much needed time spent with Jim.  Thank you to work for not calling me.

Speaking of work.  Work has been very eventful.  Some changes have happened in the Assistant Manager job and I have decided to embrace it and go for it head first. I am even meeting with a client tomorrow to take an application for a $2.5 million mortgage.  Yes we are still lending money!  A few unexpected things have happened in the world of the Provo Branch and none of which I will talk about and all of which I will try and forget.  Work, work, work I think that I need another vacation.

That is why I have wonderful parents, they see the "needs" of their kids.  On Christmas morning, Mom and Dad gave us clues as to what the kids were getting.  Some of the clues included; Dirt and plenty of it, Family fun, No cactus here.  We were all guessing about what we thought it was and most of us thought that it had something to do with the new property that they had just purchased.  Well I finally guessed and screamed at the top of my lungs "We are going to Spring Training in Florida!"  Needless to say we are all very excited to go.  The people who went last year know how much fun we had.  We are going to be in Orlando from March 18-24.  It can't get any better that sunshine and baseball!

The older I get the more I think about how lucky I am in my life.  We all need to have pity parties every now and then but for the most part we all have pretty great lives.  "This too shall pass" has been a phrase that I have said a lot throughout the last 6 or 7 months.  And now for a little cheesiness....."Scatter Sunshine."  One of my favorite hymns and something that is going to become a motto for me and Jim.  Love you all!
